Senior Adult Services
Jewish Family Service offers outreach to older Jewish adults living in congregate living settings. JFS geriatric case management services provide help to older Jewish adults needing assistance in order to continue living in their own homes. JFS also offers assistance to families who seek information on area assisted living facilities and nursing homes, and provides consultation on end-of-life planning.
Jewish Family Service is seeking volunteers of all ages to participate in Volunteer for Seniors, a program aimed at helping older adults strengthen their connection to the Jewish community. This program gives volunteers the opportunity to reach out to create lasting relationships with seniors who are living on their own or in congregate living settings. Volunteers are needed for a variety of activities such as friendly visits, transportation to Shabbat services, JFS or Community events, and more. All volunteers will receive training and ongoing support from JFS. Please contact Courtney Stollon (512) 250-1043 if you are interested in volunteering.

In addition, the Jewish Community Center offers programs and activities for senior adults in the Greater Austin area. See Senior Adult Programs to learn more.
