THE BURT KUNIK JAMEN FORUM

JEWISH AUSTIN MEN PRESENTED BY LOEWY LAW FIRM

Join the Burt Kunik JAMen Forum for delicious dinners, TED-style talks and lively discussions with thought leaders from Austin and beyond.

JAMen membership is open to all Jewish men in Central Texas whether or not you are currently a member of the Dell JCC or a local congregation. All programs take place on the Dell Jewish Community Campus.

In Memory of Burt Kunik (z”l)

Burt Kunik (z”l), the visionary founder and chair of the Shalom Austin Jewish Austin Men Dinner and Speakers Forum, passed away on August 8, 2024.

Burt and his wife Mary moved to Austin from Houston in 2014 joining their large extended family. He had been very involved in a program at Congregation Beth Yeshurun called 100 Jewish Men and wondered if a similar group could flourish in Austin. Thanks to Burt’s vision, generosity, and leadership, JAMen has become a core part of Shalom Austin’s robust efforts to deepen connections within our dynamic and rapidly growing community.

To ensure Burt’s legacy continues, the family established the Mary and Burt Kunik Legacy Fund, an investment in sustaining and growing exceptional programming for Jewish men across Austin for generations to come.

If JAMen has been valuable to you, we invite you to consider making a gift to the Legacy Fund to support JAMen, and other men’s programming.
