||Under the direction of Adam Roberts, AJRT Artistic Director, the theater program at the JCC expands - offering more family friendly shows as well as more productions and workshops with adult performers and participants. In addition, several shows will move from the traditional performance space inside the J to unique spaces around the Dell Jewish Community Campus and to Downtown Austin for special community collaborations. With new programming and locations, Theater at the J evolves to become Austin Jewish Repertory Theater.

Izzy & Barry in the Shticky Shekel Show!
A fun-filled production for the entire family
By Zachary Christman
In this original show commissioned exclusively for AJRT and written by the same playwright who brought us Aggadot Baya’ar: Folktales in the Forest, Izzy and Barry make one zany pair. There’s no telling what crazy antics are in store when their rollicking vaudeville show comes to town. Through laugh-out-loud acts full of good ol’ fashioned shtick, magnificent magic tricks, silent film fiascos and copious amounts of clowning, the pair conjure up a cavalcade of characters as they take family audiences on a romp chock full of fun.
