Jewish Federation of Greater Austin Men's Division

The Jewish Federation of Greater Austin Men's Division is a philanthropic and outreach division of the Annual Campaign. The Men's Cabinet, a committee made up of community volunteers oversees the Men's Division.  The Division hosts a variety of programs throughout the year, including Momentum: The Annual Men's Night Out Event, The Joseph Krassner Memorial Poker and Blackjack Tournament and a Bi-partisan Washington Mission.

Giving Societies:

The Jewish Federation Men's Division recognizes men who give individual gifts at various levels:

KING DAVID SOCIETY- $25,000+
YITZHAK RABIN SOCIETY - $10,000+
MACCABI SOCIETY - $5000+
CHAI SOCIETY - $1800+
MILLENNIUM SOCIETY - $1000+

Momentum:

It is defined in most places as the force or speed of movement; but not in Austin, Texas.  Here, Momentum was created to be the resurgence of men in Austin's Jewish philanthropy. It is Jewish men gathering to socialize, network, consider important world issues and give back to the community that has or will make them successful. It is the opportunity for Jewish men, new to Austin to meet their long time resident counterparts and forge their Austin Jewish future together. It is not only the beginning of men's resurgence in Jewish philanthropy, but resurgence of Jewish pride in their past, present and future.
