Jewish Baby Playgroups Parents and Children 0–4 yrs
Jewish Playgroups have formed and are continuing to form! Give your children the opportunity to interact with kids their age as you connect to other Jewish families. Call us to get involved (dates and times are determined by the participants). You don’t want to miss being a part of this dynamic and active group of families. L’MazelTov! Expecting Adults
Getting ready for a new baby? Know someone who is pregnant? L’MazelTov is the perfect answer! This wonderful blend of childbirth education and Jewish family values/life cycle education is informative and refreshing! Learn about prenatal fitness; the stages of labor; breathing and yoga exercises; post-partum and newborn care; Jewish symbols and blessings; family dynamics and community, and much more! The PJ Library Children 6 mos–6 yrs
The PJ Library sends age appropriate Jewish books and music CDs once a month to your home for children ages seven and under. This program is FREE, and helps you to build up your home Jewish library. You and your child will develop meaningful connections to Judaism through these books. Shabbat N'Play at the J 0–3 yrs
Drop-in playtime at the JCC offers the opportunity for new parents and parents new to Austin to connect with other parents, and learn about the Jewish parenting community while their children learn, play and make new friends. Join us for demo classes, holiday crafts, PJ Library storytimes, and parent talks, as well as a weekly Tot Shabbat with blessings and songs led by local clergy. Toys and equipment suitable for newborns and toddlers are provided. Free and open to the community. Interfaith families are welcome.
