Firepit Minyan
Contact: Robin Chotzinoff
The Firepit Minyan meets in South Austin backyards to experience Judaism. Though beliefs range from agnostic to true believer, the group embraces the Jewish spirit of humor, arguing with God and the pursuit of menschiness. To paraphrase Mordecai Kaplan: Tradition has a vote here, but not a veto. You are invited to join this homey, messy, spiritual, funky, musical, exuberant, all-ages community.
High Holy Day Serveices will be held at the Community of Christ Church. 2132 Bluebonnet Lane, Austin 78704.
Kol Nidre is Friday, October 3 at 7:30 PM.

Donations will be accepted, but are not required. RSVPS are highly encouraged. Go to to do so.
