Come celebrate the Festival of Lights with story, song, and, of course, food.
Join the Austin Jewish community for a community-wide rockin' Chanukah party featuring  area Children's choirs, JCC's DanStarz dance performace, arts & crafts, dreidels, latkes, sufganiot (jelly donuts) and drinks.

Chanukah blessings led by local Clergy. 
Please bring unwrapped gifts to benefit the child and adolescent unit at Austin State Hospital.

Women’s Division Chanukah Party for Seniors
Friday, December 11 • 11:30 AM–1 PM
JCC Community Hall • Free with reservation 

JCAA Women's Division proudly co-sponsors this annual free Chanukah Party for older adults.

This year's party will feature the dynamic duo of Rabbi Cookie Lea Olshein and Cantor Marie Betcher leading the program and music, which will include a menorah lighting and short service. There will also be drawings for door prizes. 
Volunteers interested in preparing a dish, helping serve or hosting a table should contact Linda Geller, Event Co-Chair at lgeller@austin.rr.com.

Reservations are imperative; Seniors should RSVP to Lisa Cohen Quay at (512) 735-8086.

Keep the "Chan" in Chanukah this year at the brand new Kung Fu Saloon during our 2009 YAD Chanukah Party! Kung Fu Saloon is a unique West 6th street bar has vintage arcade and table games, a specialty sake bomb menu, plus a full bar (across the street from Wahoos).

Don't miss YAD's biggest party of the year! If you haven't come to a YAD event all year at least come celebrate Chanukah with us!  Your $10 donation at the door will help Jews in need locally and globally.
