The Jewish Outlook is the only Jewish newspaper in Austin, Texas, providing local, national and international news of interest to the Austin Jewish Community. The Jewish Outlook is published by the Jewish Community Association of Austin (JCAA) and reaches over 7,500 households and businesses throughout Austin and Central Texas. Over 5,000 copies are home delivered, primarily by Austin American-Statesman carriers, and the rest are placed on free newspaper racks in strategic locations throughout Austin, including the Dell Jewish Community Campus, H-E-B Kosher Store, Randalls Westlake and 2222 locations, Central Market North and South, Whole Foods Downtown, as well as in every Jewish institution. In the past several years, the Jewish community has nearly doubled in size and our publication has also substantially increased in size due to advertisers recognizing its value.

DEADLINES
Space reservations for ad placement must be made directly with the advertising account executive by the 15th of the month preceding publication. If the 15th should fall on the weekend, reservations are required the Friday before. All ad PDFs are due by the 18th of each month preceding publication.

ADVERTISING GUIDELINES
All ads must meet the exact size requirements on the rate sheet. Borders around ads are required. Do not include margins, crop marks or registration marks. Turn off color management. An ad should be submitted by email as a PDF (at 200 dpi, with all fonts embedded). Shalom Austin Guide at 300dpi and Shalom Austin Directory should be 400 dpi. PDF requirements.
All color ads and artwork in those ads must be submitted as CMYK (not RGB). All black-and-white ads must be submitted as grayscale. Black-and-white photos must be at 170 dpi and color at 200 dpi.
All ads and insertions are subject to publisher approval.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Advertiser may elect to choose more than one size for a given number of months at the discounted rate. Non-profit organizations receive a 25% discount off the one-time insertion rate. Full color or spot color for ads is available at an additional cost. Cost for inserts (based on 7,400) is $235 for insertion only. We can also print your insert. (Consult with advertising account executive.) These prices are subject to change.
